Aspirin and alcohol are both blood thinners. Unfotunately, when you mix the two together, you get a double dose of a potentially dangerous combo. Cut yourself or start bleeding in any manner (have you ever tried shaving hung over) and you will need your blood to coagulate.

The side effects of aspirin are the most disheartening for a hangover 'cure'. Like Tylenol (or acetaminophen) and ibruprofen, the bad effects of aspirin can be magnified with alcohol in your system and cause even more damage to your liver than those three martinis trying to get through. Taking an aspirin usually means you'll be drinking it with a glass of water. Make it a big glass of water and that aspirin at least got you hydrated.

Aspirin might cause more even more damage to your liver and stomach which is already suffering enough.

Medical experts agree that there is no strictly "safe" level of alcohol consumption. Find out more facts about alcohol use and heath here.
